SMITH, BARBARA JANE MUNCEY went home to be with the Lord, Thursday February 10, 2005 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Barbara was a member of Three Points Baptist Church in Mascot, Tn, and retired from K.C.D.C. in Knoxville. Preceded in death by: husband: Virgil Smith, parents: Mr. and Mrs. William Muncey, brother and sister-in- law: Basil and Helen Muncey, Ralph and Cecil Muncey, sister: Lorraine Brezler, nephews: Mike and Tony Brezler. Survivors: son and daughter-in-law with whom she resided: Phillip and Cathy Carr of Oak Ridge; grandchildren: Sara and Tyler Carr; step daughter: Deborah and husband: Dewayne Calfee of Morristown; step-son: Steve Smith; sister and brother-in- law: Lousie and Bill Stokes; sisters-in-law: Opal Muncey and Beulah Muncey, many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks Dr. David Long, Dr. Joe Bondranko and the I.C.U. Staff of Methodist Medical Center. Service 8 pm Sunday Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Ruben Wilson and Rev. Brian Lakin officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 am Monday at Roseberry Cemetery for interment service at 11 am. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 pm Sunday at Mynatt Funeral Home.
