- PENDLETON, PATRICIA, 79, of Louisville, passed Tuesday, August 14, 2007. A very caring and giving woman, Pat was born in Berea, KY, June 27, 1928 to Paul and Ruth Muncy and was the granddaughter of John and Lavena Muncy; all preceded her in death. A Psychiatric Social Worker from Louisville, she held degrees from University of Louisville and Columbia University. Her career of helping others included contributions from service to management with: the Child Guidance Clinic, Central State Hospital, River Region Comprehensive Care Center, the Child Abuse Center, Health America and Seven Counties Services. Survivors include her companion, William Lewis, his children, Amy Lewis of Atlanta, Scott Lewis, his wife, Janine, and daughter, Delanie of Dallas, Brian Lewis, his wife, Amy Lee, and son, Anderson of Tampa, and Michael Lewis of Chicago. She is also survived by her cousin, Josephine Walker; her two sons, Charles and Bob Walker; and stepsister, Mary Lou Muncy of Lexington. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Pearson- Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road in Middletown, with interment at Smedley Cemetery in Indiana. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may be contributed in memory of Patricia Pendleton to Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Research or the American Cancer Society.
