Mrs. T.B. Skillman
Funeral services for Mrs. T.B. Skillman, 76, who died in Hollywood hospital, Los Angeles, Cal., July 23, will be held from St. Paul’s M.E. church Sunday at 2:30 p.m. Rev. George Woodall, pastor, will officiate
Alice Elizabeth Muncey was born near Kankakee, Ill., Dec. 15, 1851, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Muncey, who brought their family to Jesup, Ia., two years later. She was married to William Moffitt and to this union were born two sons, Dr. Edwin J. Moffitt, and Ray Moffitt, the latter dying at Savannah, Ga., while stationed there as a soldier in the Spanish-American war. Nov. 3, 1890, she was married to T.B.Skillman, Waterloo, Ia., and resided here until his death. For the past four years she has resided with her son, Dr. E.J. Moffitt, in Beverly Hills, Cal.
Surviving besides the son is a sister, Mrs. O.B. Parker, Jesup, Ia.
The body may be viewed at Hileman & Gindt mortuary until the hour of the funeral.
