FLOYDADA Graveside services for Allie Mae Muncy, 90, of Floydada will be at 3 p.m. today in the Floydada Cemetery.
Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church in Floydada with the Rev. Anthony Sisemore officiating and Pamela Jones assisting.
Services are under the direction of Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home of Floydada.
She died on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at her home in Floydada.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1910, in Cook County. She attended schools in Plaska and graduated from high school in Plaska. She moved to the Muncy community in 1927 from Hall County. She moved to Floydada in 1965.
She married Robert Muncy on Sept. 9, 1928, in Memphis, Texas. He died on June 20, 1966. She and her husband operated the Muncy Elevator in addition to ranching and farming. She was presented the Floyd County Pioneer Woman of the Year in 1998. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Floydada.
A daughter, Sharon, died in 1940.
Survivors include a son, Norman of Floydada; a daughter, Betty Gordon of Lubbock; three grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters.
