- My beloved husband Bill went to meet the Lord on Thursday, September 20, after a short battle with cancer. He was a longtime resident of Kennewick, except for the times away at school and the few years in the Air Force. He graduated from Kennewick High School in 1962, went 2 years at CBC and 2 years at Pullman. He majored in psychology and sociology.
He worked part time at the Pasco mail handling facility and part time at the Richland Post Office, where we met. He worked a few years for Goodwill and a few years for a job placement company. He then started his own job placement business, Action Personnel Service. He retired after 18 years.
We enjoyed taking vacations to Reno and Lincoln City. We also enjoyed traveling, including 2 cruises to Alaska.
He left behind his wife Wilma (Kunish) of 33 years, mother-in-law Dorothy Kunish and brother-in-law Ron Kunish of Yuma, AZ. Also uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, plus many friends. He was preceded in death by his father Lester "Buss", his Mother Lela and his sister Donna. He will be greatly missed by all.
Celebration of life will be at Kennewick First United Methodist Church, Saturday, October 13, 1:00 p.m., corner of Kennewick Ave. and Dayton St.
