• Notes

  Although no direct proof that this is the William, son of Tunis, circumstantial evidence is compelling. Samuel K. Muncey, known son of Tunis Muncy, was living with this family in 1850 - and was probably a brother of this William. ESLCV and DFM say that William, son of Tunis, had three daughters and one son - and this matches the census record.
