- Juanita Muncy Shell, of Houston, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 64.
Juanita was born on Aug. 6, 1946, in War, W.Va., daughter of the late Owen and Myrtle May (Hiatt) Muncy.
Mrs. Shell was a full time homemaker who cherished special times spent with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her second husband, Eugene Shell; a daughter, Beatrice McDonnell; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Dawn McDonnell of Houston; a daughter, Deborah McDonnell of Houston; a brother and sister-in-law; Leon and Linda Muncy of Dublin, Va.; three sisters and brothers-inlaw; Violet and Bob Propst of Glen Burnie, Md.; Beatrice and Butch Propst of Shinnston, W.Va.; and Wanda and Richard Tindell of Wilbraham, Mass.; two grandchildren, Chelsea McDonnell and Jordan McDonnell; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m., Friday, July 29, 2011, at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Ave, Milford. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday at the Glen Haven Memorial Park, 7231 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie. Interment will follow the service there.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Rogers Funeral Home to defray costs.
