GRAND SALINE - Services for Marshall Lynn Muncy, 77, Grand Saline, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday at Main Street Baptist Church with Brother Ron Cantrell officiating. Burial will be in Woodside Cemetery under direction of Bartley Funeral Home, Grand Saline. Mr. Muncy died April 11, 2008, in a Grand Saline hospital. He was born Aug. 1, 1930, in Slidell to the late Charlie Muncy and Melba Munch Trice. He grew up in Erath County and lived in Mesquite and Dallas prior to retirement in 1990 after 40 years as an accountant with the same company. He then moved to Grand Saline. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, LaVerne Muncy; daughter, Linda Williams, Grand Saline; son, Rickey Muncy, Corpus Christi; brothers, Bobby Trice, Alvarado, and Ronnie Muncy, Granbury; sister, Cheryl Turk, Indonesia; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. If desired, memorials may be made to Grand Saline Study Club; Woodside Cemetery; or Main Street Baptist Church.
