  Obituary: Charles Raymond Muncy, Sr., 78, of Bland passed away Friday, July 29, 2005 at Edgemont Center in Wytheville, Va. He was born January 13, 1927 at Bland, Va. to the late Minor M. and Bess Repass Muncy and was preceded in death by his wife, Cynthia Saunders Dillow Muncy, three brothers and three sister. He was a member of the American Legion Post 20 and Veterans of Foreign Wars, having served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was retired from the Bland County school system and was of the Methodist faith.
