  Find A Grave Memorial# 54867811 Son of Elijah L. Muncie (1865-1941) Mary Elizabeth King (1873-1963) Funeral service for James Taylor Muncie, 51, who died Friday night at his home 10 miles southwest of Leavenworth, was today in Atchison at the Dyer Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Atchison, with Masonic graveside service conducted by the Washington Masonic Lodge No. 5, Atchison. Mr. Muncie, a son of Elijah and Mary King Muncie, was born April 19, 1913, at Robinson, Kan., and had lived in the Leavenworth area since 1957. He had worked for the Midwest Solvents Co. at Atchison for over 30 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Veda Muncie of the home, and four daughters, Mrs. Ralph Theel, Leavenworth; Mrs. Harold Myers, Lancaster, Kan.; Mrs. Jeno Robertson, Winchester, and Mrs. Earl Sowers, Denver, four sisters, three brothers, and nine grandchildren."
