Evelyn McNatt, died Aug 6, 2007, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. She was 83.
She was born Feb 8, 1924, in Atchison, the daughter of Charles and Beulah Muncie. She lived many places while her husband was in the United States Air Force before moving to Lyndon, where she had lived for the last 40 years.
She worked as a licensed practical nurse at the Hilltop Nursing Home in Lyndon for many years. She co-owned and operated Lyndon Ceramics with Margaret Pabst for several years and volunteered at the ECKAN and Help House in Lyndon.
She was united in marriage to James McNatt on Aug 9, 1956, in Spokane, Washington.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; one son, Charles McNatt, Edwardsville; one brother, Robert Muncie, Atchison; two sisters, Ruth Hill, Hoyt, and Cratis Pedisph, Atchison.
Funeral services were Aug 10, 2007, at the Feltner Funeral Chapel in Lyndon, with burial in Vassar Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion Post No 125 and sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, 818 Topeka Ave., Lyndon, Ks 66451.
