DFM says that John R. Munsey is son of Winston Kidd and Laura Munsey Kidd. Apparently he was conceived out of wedlock while Winston Kidd was still married to his first wife. (various sources list her death before 1893 with any validation so we don’t know if she really died or just walked away/divorced.) He married Laura Muncy in May 1894, and their two twin daughters were born in August 1894, so they were conceived prior to marriage. Looks like Winston finally got around to doing the right thing.
