Marion Lafayette Muncey, a local carpenter, died at age 67 in an Idaho Falls hospital. Born September 7, 1906 at Cedar Creek, he was the son of Marion F. and Sarah Elizabeth Muncey. *The family moved to Mud Lake in 1914. He received his education at Level and Monteview schools in Mud Lake. In his youth, he played a violin and was in the family orchestra that played for many dances at Mud Lake. *In 1927 he moved to Idaho Falls and on July 22, 1928 in Idaho Falls, he was married to Bessie Leona Welchman. *A carpenter by trade, Bus was the former president of Carpenters Local 619. He held membership in the Eagles Lodge. His passion was fishing and dancing. *His wife, two sons, Alan Wayne of Ogden, Utah, and Lavon Dean Muncey of Seattle, Washington; two brothers and three sisters, Mrs. Elsie May Jeffery, Twin Falls, Charles A. Muncey, Idaho Falls, Mrs. Elizabeth Vada Jones, Idaho Falls, Mrs. Edward (Olivia) Owens, McCammon, Idaho and Alfred P. Muncey of Santa Paula, California survived. Bus has eight grandchild and a great grandchild.His parents, two brothers, and a sister preceded him in death. *Memorial services were held at Wood Chapel of the Pines in Idaho Falls. Interment was at the Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of the Wood Funeral Hom
