  Find A Grave Memorial # 54122486 He had a Certificate of Delayed Birth Registration signed by his sister, Virginia Thomas Keith. He graduated from Goldy's College of Wilmington, Delaware, as an honor student in the class of 1902, and eventually became a member of M. J. Ryan, wholesale oyster dealers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He married Jennie Cecelia Murray on June 11, 1910 daughter of John and Helene Murray. After his marriage he and his family returned to Dover, Delaware, and in 1921 he became an accountant in the Delaware State Auditor's office, promoted to Deputy State Auditor in 1926, and in 1936 became State Banking Commissioner, appointed by the late Governor Buck. 1920 census PHiladelphia, PA living as lodger in apartment house, wife not listed.
