| There is no proof that William and Elizabeth Muncy had a son Jeremiah. References are frequently confused with the Jeremiah, son of Skidmore Muncy who was a brother of William. Because of proximity, Skidmore and William were close and it is believed that Jeremiah (son of Skidmore) is the one noted in witness and deed transactions. The Rash/Hammer Genealogy believes Jeremiah is the son of; Early Settlers of Lee Co., VA believes him to be the same as son of Skidmore. |
